I teach lure, marker, reward based training to foster connection and communication between you and your dog as a foundation.  I believe in using a positive approach to training dogs but also implementing training tools if necessary.  My clients have had success adding an e-collar and/or prong collar as a communication tool when a purely positive approach was not providing them the results they desired.  The clearer your cues, whether voice, hand signals, and/or training tools, the easier it is for your dog to learn and succeed.  I believe in building a genuine relationship with your dog so they'll work for you out of trust, clarity, and respect. The partnership you develop with your dog is one that will make your dog want to learn because it is fun and rewarding. I offer in home and out in public training.

I’ve been professionally training dogs since 2006.  My formal training began at “It's a Dog's World” in York, ME., where I still teach classes and private lessons. These are the classes I have taught:

Manners 1, Manners 2, Manners 3, Double Dog, Kids Camp, CGC (Canine Good Citizen), CGC Urban, and CGCA(Advanced). I am also a certified CGC evaluator.
